Dear St. Paul Hermitage Families,
Today we completed our COVID 19 testing for our residents and staff who worked on Saturday. We did the testing from 9:00 am -1:30 pm. We hope to have the testing results back in the next few days. It usually takes 24-48 hours to complete the testing.
Our current COVID 19 status is that we have had no COVID 19 positive residents. We have had five COVID positive employees. Three have are recovered and have returned to work. We have had no COVID 19 related hospitalizations or deaths for both employees and residents.
We do need to make some changes to our Virtual Chats in the Health Care Center. It is becoming very difficult to do morning chats. 7:00 am -1:00 pm is very busy because we have two meals during that time. It takes longer to serve room to room. It takes many hands to complete meal service. We are asking that Virtual Chats in the Health Care Center be scheduled from 1:30 pm-5:00 pm. We can do them everyday at this time, but we are no longer able to do any virtual chats prior to 1:30 pm. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Our staff is VERY grateful for the love that we received today from our families. It brought tears to our eyes and smiles to our faces!!! We are blessed by you and we miss you very much!!!
I also wanted to let you know that I have worked a couple of night shifts this week. Because of this, I am a little behind in reading my emails. I will respond over the weekend to any questions I may have missed. I do apologize. I am trying to support our staff wherever it is needed most. If it is something urgent, you call me at 317-213-8430 and I will return your call as soon as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
I will be working nightshift tonight. I will begin my daily updates for residents on Monday instead of tomorrow morning.
Let us continue to pray for one another and the world.
