Dear St. Paul Hermitage Families,
Today was a beautiful day outside and inside. We enjoyed the sunshine and opened the windows to enjoy some fresh air. Our residents enjoyed window visits, virtual chats, and hallway bingo. We are looking forward to our snow cone party tomorrow. Our Activity Directors have been working on setting up our patio areas so that we can have a space to get our residents outside as it gets warmer. We are working on a way to set things up so that they will be socially distanced, but able to enjoy the outdoors. We have been working hard to balance physical well-being along with social well-being. All is done in conversation with our friends at the Indiana State Department of Health. They have said that although we can not have large group activities, we can have residents participate in hallway and outdoor gatherings at a social distance wearing masks. They just need to be in small groups with other people who live on the same hall. We continue to work to find ways to engage our residents in their living areas while at the same time keeping social distance.
Blessings to you as we continue in this Easter Season. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
